Team 5 Guys which first formed as part of the EMBA Class of ’22 back in fall of ’20 has been working on our culmination of our EMBA educational experience.
A little background first! The idea started when Cory Brzak stated that he loved traveling up north (near Traverse City) with “the boys”, but always hated having to go grocery shopping at Costco for 2 hours only to then sent in dense summer traffic (There’s only 1 Costco in TC, so traffic gets pretty jammed!). He thought, “Wouldn’t it be great if when we arrived the rental was already stocked with food?”
As it turned out this was the seed we needed to start peeling away at we could actually offer to fill this need which we all agreed identified a clear gap in the current market offerings.
And so, after many heated…debates…we have arrived at Conciair. A SaaS based platform whose goal is to act as every vacation renter’s personal concierge. The idea is simple connect local business owners who provide services such as, Bartending, Cooking, Grocery Shopping, Babysitting, etc., with vacation rental hosts who are trying to differentiate themselves above ever increasing competition.
As of right now we are targeting a pilot launch in Summer ’23 in Traverse City, MI so stay tuned for more updates!
